I only buy white ribbon now… because I can use my ink pads to dye my ribbon to match my ink. This works best on satin ribbons, but I’ve also had success on grosgrain ribbons, too.

I lay out my ribbon on a piece of scrap paper and swipe my ink pad across the ribbon. I’ve tried dragging the ribbon across the ink pad, but my hands ended up dyed as much as the ribbon. I found I had more control when I swiped with the ink pad. I was able to get ombre effects, too!
