Tip for Foiling Frustration
When things just seem to go wrong no matter what you do and you start getting frustrated, STOP. Just stop. Take a deep breath and do something else, anything else. Play for 15 minutes, vacuum or sweep (or search for your vacuum if you can’t remember where it is!), work on a different project, or go outside for a walk.
When you get frustrated with a project, you can get fresh insights by asking for help or stopping to give your project some downtime. Your frustration may be well-founded. Or it may be that that day it was just not meant to be and the next time you work on the project everything will go perfectly. However, during the time when you are frustrated and irritated, you cannot see clearly and need to take a break.
