Find local guilds or meet-ups where people who enjoy arting and crafting gather to discuss techniques, successes, and disasters. And also get support, encouragement, and a sense of community.

Though I used to craft alone, I enjoyed these meetings. I did have trouble finding other crafters who enjoyed the range of crafts I do, which is why I started Life In The Craft Room. Here, artists and crafters of just about any kind can come and meet other crafters during one of our Craft-and-Chats. If you can’t find a group, start one! Meet at your local library; they usually don’t charge but check to make sure.

Meeting other people who also enjoy the arts and crafts you do will boost your enjoyment even more!
