Charity Project - Port Pillows
Patients getting chemotherapy often have long-term ports that are located where seatbelts land causing great discomfort. These port pillows provide a cushion between the port and the seatbelt. This pillow can be used by anyone who needs a cushion under the seat belt, too.
To complete the port pillow, you will need a marking pen, straight pins, 2 fat quarters, 42 inches of sew-in velcro, and some batting or fiberfill.

All supplies provided, though any fiber fill or batting donations would be gratefully accepted. Participants can use any 100% cotton fabric.
No experience necessary. These pillows take 5-10 minutes to make even if you've never sewn before.
No registration required. However, if you want to use one of our machines, please do register if possible. We will have 4 available for use.
