Kumihimo 101: The Art of Japanese Braiding
Discover the ancient Japanese art of Kumihimo ("gathered threads") using modern tools.
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the rhythmic technique of 8-strand braiding to create a beautiful, durable cord for a keychain. We will cover everything from setting up your disk to finishing techniques. No prior experience is necessary—if you can count to three, you can Kumihimo!
Supplies included in class fee: Kumihimo braiding disk, 8 bobbins, cords, hardware
