Quilt: Wallhanging - Grandma's Sewing Machine
Ready to take the next step in sewing?
Basic sewing knowledge necessary. Students should be able to use their machine and sew a straight seam. Class intended for students age 15 and older or ages 10-14 with adult assistance.
Some sewing will be required outside of class times. This class runs over 6 weeks.
*Pattern Kit (included in price) contains pattern, instructions, and fabric for background and sewing machine parts.
OPTIONAL KIT is available that includes every required to finish the quilt.
Material requirements:
*1yd fusible web
*1yd border fabric (border 1 & 3) and binding
*1/4yd border fabric (border 2)
*1yd for backing
*36inx36in low-loft batting like Warm & Natural or similar
*Sewing machine, thread & bobbins, scissors, pins or clips, any other notions students like to use when sewing
*1yd grid printed interfacing with 2in squares
