Learn the basics of sewing machine maintenance. 

Students should bring their machine to class along with any tools or "goodies" that came with the machine (screwdriver and brush especially) along with the manual if possible.

Topics will include how often to clean the machine, removing lint build up, interpreting machine issues that indicate a cleaning is needed, the needle should be changed, and when to get professional cleaning/maintenance.
