Pottery with Vickie

This beginner's ceramics class runs for 3 weeks each month. Students will learn the principles of clay handling, creating a work of art that is not vulnerable to easy breakage and rules for glazing. Students can create jewelry, cups, bowls, coasters, wind chimes, birdhouses, small sculptures and so much more.

  1. class 1 - handling clay and forming an item of interest
  2. class 2 - creating a second project while discussing using a kiln for kiln-dried creations
  3. class 3 - painting the projects

Students will pick up their completed projects at the end of the month.
