Ceramics
- class 1 – handling clay and forming an item of interest
- class 2 – use of the kiln for the dried creations, firing and cooling
- class 3 – glazing the bisqueware and firing again to create glazeware
Students will pick up their completed projects at the end of the class.
Universal materials to be shared shall include brushes, textured fabrics such as loosely woven linen, table protector sheets, cups for water, styrofoam bowls, cookie cutters, stamps and a rolling pin.
The kiln will be operated by the instructor only, however, students will be taught how the kiln works and will participate in loading it. We hope to see you there!

Materials Included: | The personal materials cost will reflect three pounds of clay, a jar for slip, a scratching and a pin tool, knife and a small bottle of glaze. |
